"I recently moved to the area and wanted to support a local business, so I chose Jamie Detten’s State Farm office to get my renters and car insurance policies. I’m very disappointed with my decision to choose this office. On April 29, my 2026 Tesla Model Y developed a crack in the windshield while driving on the highway. I filed my claim, paid my deductible, and picked my repair shop. The repair shop gave me the runaround, but never actually ordered a replacement windshield. By June 4, I still didn’t have my windshield repaired. Throughout the process, I stayed in touch with my State Farm agent, Gavin, at Jamie's office. To make a long story short. They were not quick to help me resolve my issue, yet they were very quick to take my payments. I have received no support out of this office, and it has frustrated me to the point that once my windshield is fixed. I’ll be canceling my policy. In August, I plan to buy my second home in Richardson, and from my experience with this claims process, I do not feel confident in this office."
